5 Must Have Photos For Your Website

Photos Make Your Website Come Alive! In our last post, we talked about the features of a great website. Now, that you have started your site – here a few photo suggestions that will make your site even better. Here is a list of must-have photos that you should include on your website:
  1. Photos of your campground or lodging
One of the first questions I get when asking someone to come on a weekend is “what are rooming arrangements like?” If you have photos of the campground or retreat center, that will help answer the question. You can ask the facility manager to provide pictures, or even better, take them yourself.
  1. Photos from your Secuelas
This is a perfect time to capture images of people speaking in front of a room, hugs being given, people praying, people worshiping, etc.  Photos are good; videos are better. It’s best to have tons of photos or videos in your database rather than not enough. Just remember to take photos of people talking, not eating or the backs of people. No butts!
  1. Staged photos of attendees at a roundtable
You can tell your candidate that there will be discussions at each table, and you can enforce the idea with a picture of a lively discussion. Remember, no photos on a weekend! So, you’ll need to stage this picture.
  1. Plenty of people smiling
Candid photos are ok for some pages on your site but give preference to pictures showing that people look happy to be there. Don’t be afraid to ask people to pose with someone and tell them it is for the website. Be sure to have a good mix of ethnic, age, and gender groups. You want to show off the diversity of your community. We want to see some photos taken at your events! Send them to communications@tresdias.org to be featured on our website and social media pages.
