Survey of Community Needs and Strengths 2011

During the first half of 2011
, the International Secretariat designed and conducted a survey of community leaders to identify what needs were most pressing. The survey asked how satisfied these individuals were with various aspects of their program (database management, community website, secuela attendance, etc.) and how likely they would be to ask for help in these areas. The survey also asked if respondents would be willing to share their expertise in areas where they had been exceptionally successful.

A task force will analyze the results to prioritize needs and determine how best to respond to those needs. In addition to print and web-based help resources, the Secretariat hopes to establish a network of consultation services, drawing on both secretariat members as well as community leaders who have been successful in specific areas and are willing to share information.
